YQNA MISSION STATEMENT

YQNA MISSION STATEMENT
(Final version of Article 2, produced by YQNA members in the 17 April '07 meeting, chaired by Lloyd Graham and Roger Conant.)
The mission of the York Quay Neighbourhood Association is:
2.1 To protect and improve the neighbourhood's unique waterfront character.
2.2 To provide leadership that advocates for the residents in:
(a) exercising their rights and
(b) promoting their views on the neighbourhood's development and governance.
2.3 To provide a forum for giving and exchanging information related to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life and property values in the neighbourhood.
2.4 To identify and respond to issues affecting the neighbourhood.
2.5 To support efforts for a safe, clean, green, accessible and sustainable environment.

A committee continues work on YQNA Constitution and By-laws. When completed, it will be published here.
